Lee on Defund Obamacare: ‘We Make No Apologies’

Senator Mike Lee gave a spirited defense of his decision to focus on defunding Obamacare in the spending continuing resolution in a speech today.

Speaking at the Family Research Council’s Value Voters Summit, Lee said, referrring to himself and Senator Ted Cruz, “We make no apologies.”

“We stand with you,” he continued, “we stand with the people.”

Cruz and Lee actively pushed and spoke on behalf of defunding Obamacare in the continuing resolution during the August recess.
