Minn. Dems Pass Off Mic at Obamacare Town Hall

Democrats in Minnesota were uneager to defend Obamacare and looked anxiously to pass the mic off to their colleagues at a recent forum. When asked why the health-care law was not saving families the promised $2,500 on their premiums, Senator Amy Klobuchar and Representatives Collin Peterson, who immediately noted he did not vote for the bill, and Tim Walz looked to one another to field the question amid nervous laughter.

Klobuchar eventually threw her hand out to take the mic from Peterson. Walz later offered a response as well.

Peterson, one of the more vulnerable Democratic congressmen, did not vote for the Affordable Care Act, but has not supported Republican efforts to repeal the bill either.
