New Obama Attack Ad: Romney Hates Big Bird!

I’ve double-checked: This ad is definitely from the Obama campaign, not The Onion. “Bernie Madoff. Ken Lay. Dennis Kozlowski. Criminals. Gluttons of greed,” says the narrator. “And the evil genius who towered over them? One man has the guts to speak his name.” Ad cuts to Romney saying “Big Bird” in the debate, followed by a direct-to-camera shot of Big Bird himself, squawking chirpily, “It’s me. Big Bird.” Then the ominous narrator returns, saying, “Big. Yellow. A menace to our economy. Mitt Romney knows it’s not Wall Street you have to worry about, it’s Sesame Street.” And then the money shot, Romney actually saying “I’m going to stop the subsidy to PBS.”

“Mitt Romney. Taking on our enemies, no matter where they nest,” intones the narrator in conclusion.

Well, there goes Ohio for sure . . .

UPDATE: The RNC notices that Obama doesn’t seem as concerned about Libya or the economy as he is about PBS:
