Obama Camp on Biden’s Debate Grins: He is A ‘Happy Warrior’

Asked about Joe Biden’s manners during last night’s debate, Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt defended him.

“You know Governor Romney has spent the entire campaign saying that he’d stand up to China,” LaBolt said on Fox News’ Happening Now and apparently now Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan can’t handle a little bit of laughing and smiling. That seems preposterous to me.”

“Republicans like to praise happy warriors,” LaBolt remarked, “and I think that’s what we saw from the vice president last night. He called out the brazen attempt by the Romney-Ryan campaign to rewrite their ticket and their positions in the final 30 days of the race.”
