Obama admitted to a roaring crowd at Chrysler’s Jeep assembly plant that the Jeep Grand Cherokee was the first car he ever owned, though he briefly stepped on his own applause line to note how many ticky-tack problems he had with it. “When I sat in this car, it was a better car,” he said trying to right himself. “This is a good car right here.” (The teleprompter must have been screaming, “MOVE ON!”)
