Jonah: As it happens, I take a stab at this very subject over on some other blog this morning, complete with a nifty chart comparing the trajectory of Obama and Jimmy Carter in the opinion polls at parallel points in their presidency. Cue ominous music: They look similar.

Galston tried to warn Democrats in 2009 and 2010 about their folly over health care and also cap-and-trade. Here’s to hoping they’re still not listening to this very smart man.
