RNC Hits Obama on Reelection Strategy

The Republican National Committee has launched a new website entitled “Ottack 2012” to highlight President Obama’s hit-’em-hard reelection strategy. The site features the committee’s latest web ad, “Barack Obama: Typical Politician,” which uses the formerly-hopeful candidate’s words against him. In October 2008, Obama told a crowd:

Because that’s how you play the game in Washington. If you can’t beat your opponent’s ideas, you distort those ideas and maybe make some up. If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run away from.

“His only hope is to go negative,” the site quips. Watch the ad below.
