Ron Paul on Murder of Former Navy SEAL: ‘He Who Lives by the Sword Dies by the Sword’

Former Texas representative Ron Paul responded on Twitter earlier today to the murder of former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle at the hands of another Iraq War veteran, Eddie Routh. Paul shared this deep thought: “Chris Kyle’s death seems to confirm that ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword,’” Paul wrote. “Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn’t make sense.”

Kyle, who earned a reputation as the most lethal sniper in American history, was shot Sunday at a Texas gun range, where he was reportedly trying to help Routh cope with post-traumatic stress disorder. According to ABC News, it was Kyle’s own struggle to readjust to civilian life that inspired him to help others make the transition.

Neither was he a prophet. Jesus said "a prophet hath no honor in his own country." Prophets take adversarial ... Read More
