Sharpton: Obama Indicated ‘He Did Not Get All That He Wanted From the Rich’

Following his meeting with the president yesterday, Rev. Al Sharpton shared President Obama’s plans to increase revenue, particularly to address the upcoming sequester, on Morning Joe this morning. “He did not get all that he wanted from the rich,” Sharpton said. “James Brown had a song too, ‘The Big Payback.’ It’s time they paid back their share, all of it.” Obama told Sharpton and other civil-rights leaders that entitlement reform was on the table, “but he says that you got to start with revenue.”
