World Series Undercard

Last night it was Spruiell vs. Reich on Kudlow. I really enjoyed this one:

The game that followed was great, a pitchers’ duel for the ages — until the 8th inning. What a meltdown. But here’s my theory, speaking as a Rangers fan, for keeping hope alive. The Giants seem to have taken over for the Red Sox (and joined the Cubs) as one of those teams that runs into freaky bad luck in big situations. As I tweeted last night, if the Giants were fated to lose this years’ Series, isn’t this how it would start?
