Bachmann Admits Error on John Wayne

AP: Rep. Michele Bachmann concedes she misspoke on John Wayne’s hometown

Listen, I’m a fan of Bachmann, but I’m not going to make crazy excuses for her — or anyone — when they say something silly. But I will defend her when I think someone in the MSM is being a weenie, like George Stephanopoulos was today on Good Morning America. Or PolitiFact and their fact-checks of Bachmann.

Stephanopoulos and his ilk let President Obama get away with stupid statements about renegotiating NAFTA and closing Gitmo that have turned out to be completely false, all the while trying to ding Bachmann when PolitiFact ranks one of her statements as barely true.
