MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer’s Question to GOP Rep. Backfires

This has been quite the week for her. Two days ago she said that the attack on Rupert Murdoch in Parliament “encapsulates what the British people are feeling.” Yesterday, Brewer’s attempt to dismiss a GOP freshman congressman’s objection to the bailouts backfired. After arguing with Rep. Mo Brooks about the consequences of the 2008 bailouts as well as the debt ceiling, Brewer asked, “Do you have a degree in economics?”, to which Brooks (a Duke alum) replied “Yes ma’am, I do. Highest honors.” Nice. Video here:
