After a nice vacation from Keith, Chris, and the rest of the muppets on MSDNC, I tried to watch again last night. Mistake.
Matthews was busy talking about how the vote to repeal Obamacare scheduled by the Republicans is a political stunt because it has no chance in the Senate nor does the House GOP have the votes to override a presidential veto of the bill. When Nancy Pelosi was engaged in similar stunts, she was somehow not engaging in political theater.
I do agree with Matthews about one thing — the name of the bill:
To repeal the job-killing health care law and health care-related provisions in the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010.
Why add “job-killing?” Why do Congressmen and Presidents feel the need to name every bill with some focus-grouped title? Just number ‘em and vote.
