Norway Killer’s Twitter Account Hacked

“This twitter account will be deleted soon. Forget Anders.”

That was one of the messages left on Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik’s Twitter account shortly before it was wiped clean.

Another message read: “This twitter account has been seized by #NORIA. @AnonymousNorway,” indicating that the account had been breached and overtaken by (or on behalf of) hacktivist group, Anonymous.

Breivik’s Twitter account has just shy of 4,000 followers, though the sole message currently in the account’s timeline simply reads “@AndersBBreivik hasn’t tweeted yet,” as all prior tweets have been deleted by whomever hacked into the account. It’ll now be interesting to see how Twitter reacts to this event: Will the account and its tweets be restored eventually, will its timeline merely be left empty as it is now, or will it get shut down altogether?
