Don’t Worry about ‘Socioeconomic Diversity’

Egalitarians have latched on to the supposed benefits of having elite colleges use preferential admissions to increase the numbers of students from the “lower classes.” Richard Kahlenberg writes in favor of that idea time and time again, as he did in a recent Chronicle of Higher Education essay.
