Jennifer Gratz’s New Foundation

Jennifer Gratz recently started a foundation to help in the fight against racial preferences. It’s already filed an amicus brief urging the Supreme Court to grant review in the recent and execrable decision by the Sixth Circuit striking down Michigan’s ban on preferences as a violation of the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause (yes, you read that right). The Republican party in Michigan has also filed such a brief, by the way, which is a most welcome development, given the usual skittishness of politicians on this issue. Jennifer Gratz is a national treasure, and it’s great that she has this new platform.
