My New Gig

I have an announcement. (Drumroll, please.) I’ve recently taken over as editor of The College Fix–a nationwide student-reported news site founded by National Review’s own beloved John J. Miller. Its purpose is to publish original news content from campuses around the country and present it to a national audience. Our “Fix Exclusives” feature original reporting from students who are there on the ground. The result is a consistent stream of stories you can’t find anywhere else. And we aim to cultivate talented young journalists in the process.

Being an editor is a first for me. And I’m sure grammarians the world over are shuddering at the thought. Meanwhile, I will continue to write here on Phi Beta Cons and elsewhere. Do take a moment to check out The College Fix site.

During a CNN town hall on gun control, a furious crowd of Americans jeered at two conservatives, Marco Rubio and Dana Loesch, who stood in defense of the Second ... Read More
