Rand Paul’s Incandescent Idea

“Shutter down,” writes the senator from Kentucky, the federal departments that go beyond the constitutional jurisdiction of the federal government and can be managed more efficiently at the state and local level.

Among those Paul would consign to permanent darkness is the Department of Education, which would result in more efficiency and $80 billion in savings.

He does not mention what this would do to stop at least some thousands of educrats from indoctrinating future generations in big-government ideology.
