Such an Awful Choice — Real Work or College?

Over on the Corner, Manhattan Institute’s Heather Mac Donald posted a sharp comment on a recent New York Times piece. That piece was a lamentation over the fact that there are good jobs available for young people fresh out of high school in the energy industry and many are choosing those jobs rather than pursuing college degrees.

How will we ever meet President Obama’s stated goal of leading the world in the percentage of people who have college degrees if young people are Pied Pipered away into productive employment?!
