Halos to Sign Albert Pujols and C. J. Wilson

The Angels have accomplished the near-impossible and one-upped the Marlins at the winter meetings in Dallas. According to Yahoo’s Tim Brown via MLB Trade Rumors, superstar first baseman Albert Pujols is departing the Cardinals to sign a staggering $250-60 million, ten-year-deal with the Halos. Meanwhile, the New York Post’s Joel Sherman via MLBTR is saying that Los Angeles’s new general manager, Jerry Dipoto, also has nabbed Rangers starter C. J. Wilson with a $77.5 million, five-year contract.
