The labor market position of less-skilled workers has deteriorated in recent decades, and government has stepped in to shore up living standards through the expansion of a wide range of social programs. But what happens if the labor market position of the less-skilled continues to deteriorate? That is the question I address in my new Reuters Opinion column. I wish there were a silver bullet.
