Dean: Republicans ‘Would Be More Comfortable in the Ukraine or Russia’

You may have seen this video of former Vermont governor Howard Dean declaring that Republicans “aren’t American” and “would be more comfortable in the Ukraine or Russia” — filmed by the good folks at Revealing Politics.

Dean said this at an event for House candidate Andrew Romanoff, who a few years ago was cited by NPR as a role model, discussing “what it takes to reach across party lines and engage elected officials in the other party.” His website brags, “He brought Democrats and Republicans together to repair our state’s crumbling schools.”

Can you tout yourself as a bipartisan healer and then have your guest speakers declare the opposition party isn’t American?
