For the fiftieth anniversary of the day that Castro assumed power in Cuba, the NYT’s Damien Cave has stellar article up, “Grief Marks Anniversary of Triumph of Castro,” regarding the dictator’s horrifying legacy. The article’s so well written and so on the right side of history that I can scarcely believe it’s in the New York Times.
