9/11 Truther Hijacks Super Bowl Press Conference

Following his Super Bowl victory and MVP presentation, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith suddenly found himself overshadowed by a 9/11 conspiracy theorist at his post-game press conference. Smith and a stunned press corps froze when the man grabbed the mic before being pulled off by security.

“Investigate 9/11 — 9/11 was perpetrated by people within our our government,” shouted the man, who has been identified as independent Brooklyn journalist Matthew Mills.

NJ.com reports that Mills snuck in to MetLife Stadium through an off-site employee bus to the stadium using an old press pass from a festival. He was arrested and charged with trespassing.

Once Mills was taken away, Smith jokingly told security to “check his press pass.”
