A Larger Socialist Coalition Is Bound to Form in Congress, Whether We Like It or Not

Melat Kiros, socialist, barista, and Ph.D. student, won her primary in Colorado’s first congressional district, ending what would have been a 30-year tenure for the more establishment-type Democratic incumbent.

The ramifications, however, extend far beyond this one district. With the uber progressive “Squad” having already formed its liberal coalition years ago, the potential November victories of Kiros, New York’s Darializa Avila Chevalier and Claire Valdez, and Pennsylvania’s Chris Rabb, will only add fuel to the fire. Come November, the Socialist coalition will undoubtedly expand, and wreak havoc in Congress.

Check out my reaction to Kiros’s victory, below.
