A New Book to Put on Your Reading List

Abigail Shrier, author of Irreversible Damage, has a new book out, Bad Therapy: Why the Kids Aren’t Growing Up.

In her first book, Shrier explored how the practices and assumptions of gender ideology are harmful, especially to adolescent girls. In Bad Therapy, she explores how the therapeutic approaches of the mental-health industry have done more harm than good. For most children, the “cure” of therapy may be worse than the disease (when the malady is being atypical or having some minor problem).

I look forward to reading the book. The concept alone is compelling.

Here is Shrier discussing Bad Therapy with Joe Rogan.
