A New Combatant in the Battle against Abusive Government Power

Abusive government power, often manifesting itself in preferential treatment for some and discrimination against others, needs to be fought and eradicated.

The recently begun Equal Protection Project is committed to doing exactly that. EPP has a wonderfully old-fashioned mission, namely, to ensure fair treatment of all individuals without regard to race or ethnicity. It will educate by shining a light on bad practices and undertake litigation where necessary. For example, it is fighting to end racially discriminatory programs in the Providence, R.I., School District.
