A Pair of Podcasts

Daniel Hannan has just been to Odesa, and we have podcasted. We talk about Ukraine, of course. Then about the queen, and British politics, and other interesting things. For our Q&A, go here.

Does Dan Hannan need an introduction? Journalist, author, politician — member of the House of Lords. His website is here. Like Paddington, Dan began his life in Peru, then arrived in England. He is greatly curious about the wide world, and has worked to learn a lot about it.

Here is a music podcast — my latest Music for a While. There is some Chopin, some Liszt, some Puccini — and some jazz: “Mood Indigo” and “Tangerine,” done fantastically and indelibly. When the Oscar Peterson Trio plays “Tangerine” — they make sure to weave some “Tea for Two” into it.
