I’m echoing the news that the popular host of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight will be joining us — and we hope you — at NR Institute’s 2019 Ideas Summit, taking place this March 28–29 in Washington, D.C., at the Mandarin Oriental.
It’s my understanding that the great Michael Brendan Dougherty will engage Tucker in a conversation about his much-discussed early-January monologue on the state of conservatism, free-market principles and their consequences, and much more. We’re calling it “Populism and the Right.”
This should be (will be!) scintillating. And it’s just more groovy news about the Ideas Summit, coming on the heels of yesterday’s announcements that Adam Carolla will head the “Night Owl” session on free speech, and that Rich Lowry and Jonah Goldberg will climb the turnbuckles for a have-it-out — Jonah’s dubbed it the Whomp in the Swamp — over nationalism and populism.
