Flies and Mosquitoes don’t actually kill people; they merely transport diseases that kill people. The most dangerous animal in Africa, or anywhere in the world, based on being directly responsible for the death of a human, are snakes. They kill 10,000+ Africans a year, and 20,000+ world-wide yearly. And you don’t die from some disease the snake carries (like bugs); you die directly from their venom.
There’s an NRA-style argument in here somewhere: Flies Don’t Kill People….
