ACLU vs. America’s Borders, Cont’d

Closing arguments were today in the ACLU’s legal offensive against the plucky town of Hazleton, Pa., and its anti-illegal-immigration ordinances. My research director, Steve Camarota, testified in this week’s trial and, according to the defense team, after one of the ACLU team’s lawyers grilled him on the stand, she went to the back of the gallery to cry. The witness drove the lawyer to tears. Steve’s a genial guy and intended no such thing, but my inner Ann Coulter relishes the idea of making one of these agents of subversion squirm.
