are you supposed to be here? You want a ballot in Spanish? First produce
proof of U.S. citizenship.
Nineteenth-century America needed fewer immigration laws because there was
no welfare, no Medicaid, no SSI, etc. Immigrants worked or they starved.
Now, if you can sneak across the border, our government will do all it can
to enroll you as a member of the welfare state in the language of your choice.
