Agreeing to Disagree on Some A-Word Assessments

JPod, not shockingly, I don’t agree with you on this — “I don’t believe Romney does, despite his change of heart.” As uncompelling as some find his stem-cell story, after hearing him talking about it enough and knowing some of the people in his inner circle, I buy it, and have for a while now.

And I really haven’t spent much time with him, but I do think Fred Thompson is more conservative than not. Think of his Chris Wallace interview, listen to some of his radio commentaries. Maybe he’s just more disciplined than some others, knows how to take to scripting better. But I think there’s a lot more to it than that — something conservative going on here. But we may soon see.
