Readers of the Iran News Round Up received this a few days ago, but it’s worth flagging:
Ahmadinejad has interwoven into his campaign video (starting around 0:57) footage of the capture, disarmament, and humiliation of British sailors on March 23, 2007. At around 1:43, the video shows him awarding medals to the perpetrators of the operation which many Western diplomats dismissed as a rogue operation. Around 2:12, we see the British sailors applauding Ahmadinejad (at least that’s what the splicing suggests).
