VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (CNN) — Washington-area sniper suspect John Allen Muhammad has decided to no longer represent himself in his murder trial and will allow his original attorneys to take over, the judge announced Wednesday morning.
The announcement came after a bench conference among Muhammad and attorneys in the case.
