Allen West was interviewed today by a bobblehead with Conservative New Media. West was asked whether he believes that President Obama and other Democrats were seriously addressing the debt crisis. West, of course, said he did not.
What this is about is expanding bureaucratic nanny-state, get more people tied to government, economically dependent on government, either by subsistence check or by employment check. Therefore, they will stay in government forever. It’s much the same as Alexis de Tocqueville talked about in ‘Democracy In America’ — that this American republic will collapse once Congress and obviously our president realizes they can bribe the public by using the public’s treasury.
