Today, on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the latest editor-in-chief of Time magazine (I didn’t catch his name) alerted the nation to the latest Time cover story. He was very proud of the shocking, controversial topic that he and his little (and getting smaller all the time) staff of fellow speakers of truth to power had had the guts to print for all of the West Side to see.
The topic was — wait for it — “Is America Islamophobic?” My goodness! Where did Time find the courage to pose such an unmentionable question in public? As we have all read scores of similar articles over the last 8 years, 11 months, and 2 weeks, none of us need to read this latest retread. But I can give the editor and his once iconic mag the answer to all his questions:
No, we are not Islamophobic. We are, however, becoming virulently, rabidly liberalophobic. Their ignorant, self-loathing disdain for America is triggering a national gag response. Expect the reverse-peristalsis to this force-fed liberalism to manifest itself on the first Tuesday after the first Monday this November.
