I’m sorry Andrew is taking slanderous shots at my friends Ed Whelan and Cliff May. But he’s simply irrational on this subject. I tried to engage him on it a couple of years ago (see here and here — with links to the responses and sur-replies), but it’s just not worth the energy to try to deal civilly with someone who won’t concede your good faith, who is an unreliable relater of fact, and whose M-O is to go from zero to character-assassination in a nano-second. As I’ve said before, life is too short — Andrew long ago stopped being worth the time it takes to read what he writes, much less agitate over it.
