Iain – Did CAIR really use the word “anti-Semitic?”
The reason I ask is that anti-Semitism — contrary to what some often contend — was never meant to mean anti-Arab even if Arabs are Semites. It was conceived as a progressive-scientific term for Jew hatred. Also, while many Semites are Muslims, by no means are all Muslims Semites, a point CAIR should take great pains to make clear.
