An Iraqi official says that Islamic State militants has taken hundreds of Yazidi women captive, according to the Associated Press.
The spokesman for Iraq’s human-rights ministry said the women are under the age of 35 and are largely being held in schools in Mosul, the country’s second biggest city, recently captured by the Islamic State.
