Re last night’s post about incontinent Quebeckers having to wait three years for treatment under the province’s health “system,” a reader writes to point out what’s really at stake:

You miss the even greater disaster of ongoing Canadian incontinence, that’s the environmental impact.  Shouldn’t someone be protesting the excessive water usage by Incontinadians?  And think of the environmental disaster when Incontinadians start using US water supplies for rest stops.  We obviously need a Congressional hearing about this and get the border sealed.

You may be on to something. It wouldn’t surprise me if all these Quebeckers flushing 12 times a night into the St. Lawrence are responsible for the rising oceans President Obama’s pledged to reversing.
