Aquinas, Augustine, and Obama

Below, Rich notes the following excerpt from the New York Times piece on President Obama’s selection of suspected terrorists to be placed on the “Kill List:”

Aides say Mr. Obama has several reasons for becoming so immersed in counterterrorism operations. A student of writings on war by Augustine and Thomas Aquinas, he believes that he should take moral responsibility for such actions.

Can’t wait for the Times piece on how the writings of Augustine and Aquinas may have influenced the president’s actions on the HHS mandate.
