Performing a single number from his new album, Kanye West was loudly booed last night at a pre-NFL game concert where the New England Patriots championship banner was unveiled, according to the Boston Globe: “His name [was] booed loudly by Patriots fans who evidently didn’t appreciate his nationally televised comment the other night on a Hurricane Katrina benefit that President Bush ‘doesn’t care about black people.’ The boos were thunderous and lasted for much of his number.” The reporter, Steve Morse, found it “disconcerting.” Not me–this is the best news I’ve had all week.
