Arrests in Tehran

I’ll be back in Washington tonight and will start doing the Iran updates regularly again but, in the meantime, just a note that on the 8th anniversary of the 1999 student protests, the Iranian authorities have arrested six activists who tried to commemorate the event at Amir Kabir University. According to other Iranian activists, they are: Mohammad Hashemi, Ali Nikoo Nesbati, Mahdi Arabshahi, Bahare Hedayat, Hanif Yazdani, and Ali Vafghi.
