Passengers claim that Lufthansa threw all Orthodox Jews off an NYC flight connecting in Frankfurt and bound for Budapest last week. Apparently, a couple in the group had refused to wear masks, provoking the German airline to ban all fellow Jews from the flight. In a video taken by a passenger, one Lufthansa agent says, “It’s Jews coming from JFK. Jewish people who were the mess, who made the problems.”
More like the Luftwaffe, amirite? Apparently, the airline’s agents didn’t have any phrenological equipment on hand, so they were forced to do visual checks on passengers’ physiognomy as they passed by. The group of Jews was also banned from purchasing any tickets to Budapest for 24 hours. One passenger claimed that dozens of police officers were waiting for the Jewish passengers when they landed in Germany. All of which seems just a tad bit insensitive, to say the least.
