My inbox is filled with fundraising e-mails from abortion advocates asking, “Where are the women?” Well, one female opponent of the HHS mandate/coercion rule was asking questions at yesterday’s Oversight hearing: registered nurse Ann Marie Buerkle, a Republican from New York. Last night on the House floor, she said: “This is not about contraception. This is not about women’s health. This is not about Catholicism. This is about protecting the most fundamental right that we as Americans have.”
