Ronald Weich, the assistant attorney general who authored a letter in February of 2011 falsely denying that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives had allowed “gunwalking” during Fast and Furious, is leaving his job. The press release, however, does not mention Fast and Furious explicitly.
