Attack Of The Webheads

The dynamic right now is not just online conservatives shooting at McCain. If you spend any time cruising Lefty sites, you’ll find a great deal of anti-Hillary animus, some from longtime Obama fans, some from Edwards folks who have (among the commentariat, at least) have broken heavily for the Illinois senator.

My point is that if we end up with a McCain-Clinton battle, activists, bloggers, and political elites in both camps will resent it, at least for a time. Both candidates are disliked as moderate and dishonest by those folks. The Internet equivalent of fists shaken in furious frustration will be much in evidence.
