I’m very down on Ron Paul these days, but I wonder if that was the first time there was ever even an oblique reference to the Austrian/von Mises school of economics in a presidential debate. If Steve Hayward’s reading, maybe he knows if the Gipper ever mentioned Hayek in a debate.
