The House report on the autopen scandal is damning and enraging enough, and it fills out a great many details about the mechanics of the scandal, such as who the main collaborators were in hiding the president’s condition from the public and even the cabinet.
What’s shocking and sobering to consider is that the entire Democratic apparatus, including the mass media, knew the truth, knew that the public basically knew the truth, but thought that by simple, repeated emphatic denial they could brazen it out and potentially grant a vacant and unfit Biden, whose powers had been usurped by low-level aids, another four years as president. All while maintaining the pretense that they were saving “democracy” by doing so.
This pretense should disappear in shame forever.
